Powder X Lewis (planned for Winter '25/'26)
If you have been looking at what we do, then you already know we have actively employed Raymond H. Oppenheimer's 20 Principles(+) in making this and all of our selections. We expect this mating to occur in the Winter 2025 and from there the timeline runs. If everything goes to plan pups would be ready to go to their forever homes most likely in Spring 2026.
We've had Lewis-Lenny on ice now for a good number of years! He is a stunning dog, with a great pedigree, and an impressive resume! Here at TGK we are always innovating and working to produce lovely typical Drents with useful genetics and intriguing pedigrees. This litter will be produced via the use of frozen semen surgical insemination. This isn't anything new to the world of pure dogs included. We are working with our trusted Reporductive Veternarian and are very excited for what this pairing will bring.
With the Lewis-Lenny X Sage pairing we expect another remarkable result! Both are nicely in balance with one another and should produce some nice heads, with lovely expressions, and superior overall conformation. Lewis-Lenny v.d. BezelhonkLewis is a Dutch Drent living in Germany. He was listed with the Belgian & Dutch breed clubs for stud... but that was a while ago now. Lewis was chosen for his wonderful temperament, use as a practical hunting dog, his great overall structure, and good looks. Naturally his pedigree is outstanding as well as being useful to the North American population. Lewis has a reputation for being a bit of a clown and a serious power cuddler. In other words - A Classical Drent.

Two Gun's Lone Sage Dreamcatcher NA P3, aka SageSage as mentioned above, is the singleton puppy out of Powder's final breeding. She was a beautiful puppy and as such, we couldn't really let her go. Sage was co-owned and lives with the Kuntz family about 30 minutes from us. We do field training with her and her family frequently, and even do a little bit of hunting when our schedules all line up. Sage comes to visit often and we are excited for her to remain part of our family!

Answers to frequently asked questions:
*All puppies must be picked up at our home in Spokane, WA. Shipping is only by exception.
*We do not allow future owners to "pick" their puppy. We will make selections based on the dynamics of our client list and the pups produced. There is no preference order.
*Our Pups will come with health records including proof of worming, 1st set of vaccinations, microchip, and clean bill of health as well as DPCNA and AKC registration.
Puppy visits:
*We do not allow visits with the puppies until they are 2 weeks old
*We allow adults and encourage children to come as well, however children should be supervised and know beforehand how to interact and handle a puppy.
*Please be prepared to have your hands and shoes disinfected when you visit
*Please wear clean clothes and do not travel to a dog park or pet store on the day prior to your visit
We recognize the DPCNA, The Drentsche Patrijshond Club of North America, as the parent organization of the Drentsche Patrijshond, Dutch Partridgedog, in North America as recognized by the American Kennel Club. All of our litters will be registered with the DPCNA and American Kennel Club.
